I didn’t Love My Husband At First- Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde

Anytime Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde speaks about her husband, her face lights up in a smile.

And then, no question about the sort of relationship they both share is complete without the shapely actress saying, “If I had not married him, I would not have married anyone else.”
And this is quite understandable, as their union of 16 years has weathered the storm and is one of the few in the industry that is scandal free.
Surprisingly, the actress says scandals are expected when an individual is famous. As such, they add up in making her life story more interesting. She adds that she is not bothered because her husband is very understanding.
“It would have been extremely painful if my husband takes things to heart, then it would have been a roller coaster ride for me and then I have to go through the problem again and again. God has been great you know, ‘the guy no get wahala,” She quips.
As a veteran in the marriage business, Omosexy, as the actress is fondly called reveals that the love was not instantaneous. “I always tell people that when I met him. I was not in love with him but he says for him it was love at first sight so I had to grow to love him. I was attracted to him because of his maturity. I saw the ability for him to see me. I mean, he knows me more than I know myself. It is just weird I can’t explain. You just can’t get it. But he feels my pain, it is easy for him.
When their paths first crossed, a young Omotola had just lost her father; hence the emotional trauma she was experiencing at that time was overwhelming.
Then her husband showed up with a ray of hope and then she fell for his charming nature. “In those days I was young so there were ways I particularly handle things that were immature so I would snap very fast because I was short-tempered. So many people will think I was very difficult even my mother. But he would tell her to leave me alone. Even then, my mother will say ‘you will not marry, there is no one that will marry you,’’ She says with a smile.
Describing her husband as her love ‘therapist’, Ekeinde attributes her spiritual growth to her husband. “I have even gone closer to Christ because of his exemplary behavior and the way he handles things. With the maturity I find in him, I can admire that and then emulate him. That is the connection and the way I have been able to live with him.”

Asked if she considers herself a doting mother to her four children, the actress lets out a gale of laughter, saying , “In my own mind yes. In fact my kids think I am their situation too much. So I am thinking that if I was around, they would have run away from the house. I feel I am a very hands on mum in fact I just got back from Ghana and they were telling me that I am always on the phone with them. Even though my husband is always around, I know what they are doing every minute. I think I am a bit too strict with them maybe because I am taking taking after my mother. She was a disciplinarian to the core.

Charly Boy and Lady Di celebrate 35 years of marriage!

Popular entertainer and publisher, Charly Boy and Lady Di clocked thirty five years in marriage recently. With five children from his previous marriage plus Lady Di’s three, Charly Boy has every reason to celebrate with his wife.  The famous ‘okada’ riders chairman has had a hard time convincing some Nigerians of his eccentric style of dressing and hairdos  which have made him and his wife, Lady G stand out in functions and family events.

This  famous  son of retired Justice Chukwudifu Oputa and his American wife, Lady Di, started off together in Oguta, Imo state in the early 80’s, as pepper soup sellers to make ends meet.

They relocated to Lagos when the going got tough to squat in Justice Oputa’s Ikoyi home. They weathered the storm of  bad press and gossip together, and today they are not celebrating years of selling pepper soup, but thirty five years of living in love, harmony and understanding. A huge congrats to the couple!

OLEKU! Ice Prince Impregnates Bimbo Babatunder, 20 Years Old Undergraduate

EXCLUSIVE: 20 Year-Old Drop Out Delivers Baby Boy for Ice Prince

The love child named Toluwalase is a male child. The babymama, as we were informed is Babatunde Bimbo.

According to the story, Ice Prince put Bimbo Babatunde, a Benin Republic University undergraduate into family way sometimes last year. She was a drop-out of Houdegbe North American University, Benin Republic.

Gist has it that Bimbo gave birth to Toluwalase on Thursday, March 1, 2012 somewhere in Abeokuta.

Bimbo, a former girlfriend of fellow Ice Prince's label mate, Jesse Jagz was seeing Ice Prince while still dating Jesse Jagz.

From what we were told, Ice Prince is not happy about the development and has abandoned Bimbo and their child. We learnt that with the way things are going, Ice Prince may not show up for the child's christening taking place this Thursday.

It was also learnt that Ice Prince has been very harsh to Bimbo over the newest development. We were unable to confirm if Ice Prince has now refused to take full responsibility of the child, but from what we gathered, something of such could be smelling.

Married Celebrity Designer, Mudi impregnates 23 Years Old Model

Celebrities pouring their semens into unsuspecting female fans has suddenly become the new order of the day in Nigeria;

This must be coming as a disappointment to many fans of this popular fashion designer, as he has gone beyond the limit of morality in his line of business. How do we mean? The popular designer fondly known as Mudi is right now enmeshed in a controversy that bothers on immorality as we said earlier. Unimpeachable information at the disposal of this magazine has it that the upscale designer put a 23 year old model in the family way, albeit outside wedlock,  much to the consternation of many who have heard of the ugly story. The model, simply identified as Ginny Dave and a graduate of University of Lagos is said to be many months gone in the pregnancy and sources close to this magazine have equally revealed to us that since the pregnancy matter touched Mudi’s awareness, he has severally been spotted at the Olatunji Street, Oshodi, Lagos abode of his supposed mistress. Mudi is said to often sneak in and out to pay his mistress nocturnal visits, as a way of pampering the girl in anticipation of the tiny tot. Ginny, it was gathered, came the way of Mudi as a young model whom she at one of the several fashion shows where Mudi plays big. There and then, the two clicked and a relationship ensued. In recent times the quotation on Mudi’s Face Book wall have been quite suspicious and eye brow-raising, as he seems to be pondering on certain things beyond his control. For example, he recently posted on his wall the following, “In the splendor of your Majesty”, a quote that has been linked to his mistress Ginny. Another quote on Mudi’s wall reads “ god grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference”. You will recall that the fashion connoisseur, Mudi is currently and legally married to a Ghanaian lady who since their marriage is yet to bear him {Mudi} the fruit of the womb, which may have spurred Mudi to look outside in search of this precious fruit. Efforts to reach Mudi on this development proved abortive, as his phone was switched off nor did he respond to the text message that was forwarded to him for his reaction on the pregnancy matter. As it stands now, much as the story sounds scandalous in all ramifications, given Mudi’s marital status, it might be a different cup of coffee to Mudi because at last what he has been hoping for in his wife of many years has just manifested in his 23 year old mistress and so it’s a thing of joy to him, scandal or no scandal. It is however expected that when the news finally becomes an open matter it is surely going to elicit mixed reactions from different quarters as it will be seen as a betrayal of love and affection on the side of Mudi to his wife whose reaction we can only wait for the news break to know.
